UCBI USAID – Data Lifeboat

Initial UCBI program activities help to build confidence in the transition and Government of Ukraine and mitigate the destabilizing effects of the conflict by: •Repairing critical infrastructure and restoring basic services in conflict-affected communities in the east; •Addressing the displacement crisis in areas at risk of further destabilization while rebuilding trust between host and displaced communities and local government; •Increasing public understanding of and engagement in the transition and conflict by empowering city and rayon councils and civic organizations to hold inclusive and transparent dialogue with citizens; •Assisting government offices in coordinating messages on issues related to the transition; •Undertaking activities that gather better data on citizen perceptions, priorities, and potential partnerships.
